This product was made in China I never asked about the bottom and how many layers of aluminum it has this is all I can say about it! **Q: I've ordered teapots that claim to work on induction stove, but then don't work when I try them on mine. Does this teapot iwork on induction stoves?** A: Kelly, I use a gas cooktop.
