A: I would say no. They are great for schooling in warmer weather, but they are quite thin, and more like riding tights than breeches.

A: I’m my opinion, I would say yes. I bought a small for my granddaughter but wish I had of gotten an xs.

**Q: What size for slim 9 year old girl?**
A: I would say a size small.  I bought a medium for my daughter, who is very slim and has a small waist, and she is 5'2 and about 95 pounds.  The medium is very snug on her. Also, the quality is quite good for the price.  Good stitching.
