Mia moglie quando mi ha chiesto di acquistare questa pentola, ho pensato ad una follia. E in effetti lo è stata, ma la follia è nello stupendo cibo che viene fuori da questa tipologia di accessorio, direi FOLLIA DEL BUON GUSTO.La foto che vi allego non da giustizia nel sapore di quel pollo. A me la carne piace poco ma il risultato è stato di un pollo saporito, croccante, gustoso, sublime.La ghisa ha saputo avvolgere del giusto calore la pietanza, ne ha cotto le carni con sapienza, gradualità ma costanza nella trasmissione del calore. L'alloro, il timo, il pepe e il sale si sono fatti spazio all'interno della carne insaporandola come mai avevo sentito.Dopo la cottura, per la pulizia, è stato sufficiente attendere il raffreddamento della pentola e quindi ho messo dell'acqua calda con detersivo per piatti. Dopo 20 minuti è bastato passare una spugnetta NON abrasiva e tutto è tornato come fosse da utilizzare per la prima volta. Ho messo la pentola sul mobile della mia cucina, è anche bellissima da vedere, imponente col suo peso.Che dire d'altro, niente, i fatti hanno detto la loro, benedetta sia una pentola così.Se la consiglio ? When something sticks while cooking I just add a bit of water and this actually makes a sauce.
