Of course, now I only will even try paper that is 100% cotton and regularly use the "gold standard" in this country, which is Arches. I watched a review of this paper and decided to give it a whirl. I am pleasantly surprised at how well this paper performs. To me it is very similar to Arches. It doesn't buckle even with a lot of water and the paints disperse and flow beautifully. No problem with tape sticking or masking fluid removal. I'm happy with this paper and will probably purchase it again. I like this size and I have no problem at all removing it from the block. Worth a try for any watercolorist. I almost abandoned my newly purchased schminke set cos I was not happy with the way it behaved on my arteza watercolor pad. But this pad changed that narrative. The paint flows, colors remain vibrant. It’s just an absolute joy to paint on.Despite using the wet on wet technique you can see the paper didn’t warp at all. It received my artist tape well another flaw with the arteza pad.
