It’s consistency is similar to grease (lubrication), and it gets “thinner” and easier to use in a spray gun as it warms up. **Q: What is the shelf life of the 5 gallon after its been opened?** A: I have a 5 gallon container of the black fluid film. I had to dilute it by 25% with mineral spirits to apply it. I'm sure the shelflife is years. It will oxidize slowly over years.
