This was due to one of my doors sagging in one corner. However, I belive most wouldn't have an issue. My second door was a smooth install. Measure twice, drill once. This unit does make the door much mores secure. I've had multiple friends see these, and ask what it was. Afterwards, they bought then themselves. Much easier to use than the dowel in the tray option. My one issue is that the key lock option is utter garbage. However, it's not a deal breaker, as I have no need for it.
