- Stones are shown wet in the photo #1 so you know how they'll appear after polishing. They will not be this brightly colored when you receive them; they are rough, unpolished rock - please see photo#2. The stone is black to grey black with occasonal white calite and occasional red iron stains.

These polished up very well. I do 5 stage polishing with the last being Cerium Oxide. That gives it that super shiny finish. The onyx comes with solid black rocks and ones with a lava orange color swirled in them. Super cool.
