I made a double batch of sugar cookies, split the dough into four and used 6 drops of color per section. I wanted the cookies paler because Easter (and actually wish I'd done even paler than this). The gel is less gellike and more of a thick liquid. It was easy to count out the drops. They had no flavor impact on my cookies.
