Good stuff! ********UPDATE 4/22 - I just noticed that one of the receivers no longer works - no chime, no volume, no LED light. I've contacted the seller to see if there's a warranty replacement available.****I have to say that this is a well-priced, well designed self-powered doorbell. The chime is about 3.75" x 2.25" x 1.5" (the latter measure is the thickness excluding the electrical outlet prongs) - and the push button itself is about 2" x 3". The middle button activates a blue night-light, while there are two buttons on the side, the topmost changes the ringtones and acts as a pairing button, while the bottom-most cycles through 4 volume levels. The loudest volume level is fairly loud, should be enough to be heard through a small apartment. The push button activates with an audible click when fully depressed and a small red led lights up as visual confirmation. The chime then sounds and flashes as well. The signal seems to transmit fairly well (I've got mine at the top of my basement stairs and it transmits flawlessly through drywall and wood to a chime in the second story directly above it - same applies for a rear push button). Where this doorbell shines is that you can pair the chime with multiple push buttons - unfortunately, you can't differentiate between push buttons (i.e. have a different chime for each push button), but this allows for multiple chimes activated simultaneously by multiple buttons (I've got 2 chime bases paired with 2 push buttons, so that if someone is by the rear entrance or garage door (which are close together), we'll know to get them. Works for a large home or a small apartment- Large, sturdy, double sided stick on pad to install button. Screws also included- The receiver is small enough I can use the other outlet on the wall- The bright blue light could be useful as a night light- You can turn off the light so it can be placed near bedroomsCONS:- MAJOR: Almost all the chimes are long musical pieces with several dedicated to Christmas. I am a musician, and listening to any of these electronic pieces repeatedly would be annoying. Only one chime is a ding-dong-ding-dong. Even it is too long for my needs. A single ding-dong or even a ding would be a better choice when someone else is sleeping in the home, to not bother the neighbors, etc. Because the sound quality isn't great, more short, simple tones should have been included. This is entirely my reason for giving a 4 star rating instead of a 5- MINOR: My visitors don't recognize the button as a doorbell. One receiver will go off randomly without pushing the button. It is super annoying and makes that one useless.Pros: can pair one button to multiple receiversSelf powered so you don’t have to replace batteries or wonder when they need replacing.Cons: cannot unpair a receiver I wanted one receiver to power the rear and side door and the front button to power two receivers. Since each is already paired, one button must double up a receiver.Major con: one receiver would go off by itself a few times an hour. These are otherwise great. To get the setup I really want, I’d need to buy another kit and scrap that button. Since one receiver is broken, that’s two reasons why I’d need to do that.If you only need one kit, it’s good. Keep the packaging so you aren’t up a creek like I currently am with a defective receiver.Also, the single button comes with a large button.
