There was a bit of plastic flash on one of the front tabs that needed to be trimmed off with a knife before the handle would snap into place. They should not be advertised as unbreakable. They are plastic and can definitely break and probably will over time. The handle is just not a very good design, from Maytag, to prevent this from happening. To help prevent breaking the handle do not pull the door open from the front edge on the handle. That will definitely stress the weak front two tabs.
