I ordered what could be considered a regular/large kid-size bean bag for my 8 year old and the 10lb bag filled about half of it. I’m ordering another 10lb bag now, and I THINK it will be enough to fill it up, but I’m not positive. Really hope I don’t need a third bag because, stuffing alone, this has already cost me $100, plus the $40 bean bag, $12 liner….I’m already looking at $152 for what’s supposed to just be a fun piece of kid’s furniture. If I need a third bag the thing will cost $202 altogether, which just seems insane. **Q: Is this washable with a liner?** A: No **Q: how much would i need to fill a pregnancy body pillow that is 60inches long?** A: I just filled one of those U shaped pregnancy pillows. I took out all of the polyfill and used this brand of shredded memory foam. It took four packages. They’re sold in packs of two, so I ordered two and that was enough with some leftover for a small pet bed. **Q: there are Brown pieces of filling in the bag. Is this mold?** A: It depends on how it feels. The Jade Active memory foam is finer grain than the other brand I bought. On the positive side Jade Active is soft and expands a great deal. It seems best suited for small items, like side pillows and soft toys. Jade Active is not well suited for large items, like a bean bag, as it compresses easily and does not offer much support. The 10lbs of other brand shredded foam I bought was notably heavier, and expands less. What I took away is that 10lbs in volume can be achieved in many ways, and it's hard to tell the difference on Amazon.
