But am very disappointed that the 18mm sizes are missing from the metric ser as well as the 7/8 sizes are missing from the SAE/inch setcolete sets. I plan to call Thread Checker on it. **Q: 18mm and 7/8 sizes are not included? Can the seller/maker explain that & do you have another set which includes them?** A: I've been talking with the company requesting additional checkers to add to the ring. The ones that are skipped are: M18-2.5, M14-1.25, 7/8"-9, 7/8"-14, and #8-36 sizes. Technical support told me they will pass this info "up the ladder", so I'm hopeful. These last few checkers would make this the PERFECT set. **Q: Why is #12-24 also missing?** A: Your right it is not included. That size is not available either. **Q: how do they detach from the cable so you can check things like holes on the side of an engine block if you don't want to stick the chain down there?** A: I used split ring key chains to attach to each gauge and then added all to large split ring. 5/8" for small gauges, 7/8" for large size. then added to either a 2" for a Metric- S.A.E. or for one ring combined I used a 3" split ring. This is a way that each gauge can be removed and returned when needed.
