The MIRA is, frankly, pretty bomb proof. Solidly made, and all Stainless steel construction, so very easy to rinse and clean. it is small enough to fit, even in carry on luggage. It comes with three spare stainless steel plunger filters and keeps the coffee really hot whilst you make the coffee then shower and get yourself mobile in the morning. Should you want to, you can even make noodle meals in it ( those who travel loads and arrive at the hotel after the restaurant has closed will understand this). Quality piece of kit. I will not be leaving to travel without it. The filter/strainer on the inside fits snugly so I have not had any issues with finding grounds in my coffee after pushing the plunger down. And thanks to the tip in the instructions about stirring the grounds immediately after hot water is added, the coffee turns out stronger and thicker - so I have been able to reduce the amount of grounds I am using. If you're a coffee lover, you can't beat the taste of brew made in a french press.
