I've owned multiple of this exact same notched trowel, from different manufacturers, and because this particular trowel blade is thinner, and less hard of a metal then all my other trowels, the notches tend to wear away quicker then all my other thinset trowels. This notch is similar to a 1/2"×1/2" notched trowel.
