Not to swim more, but to make my own fin next time. It's a thin piece of plastic, covered in bathing suit material and held closed by velcro.Pros: cheap, easily modified, fits multiple sized feet/cons: the Velcro doesn't hold well but the stitched shape holds the plastic in the cover. I ordered a large, based on shoe size, but it's still big on my size 11(w) feet. your feet go directly on the plastic. It's not bad just oddUPDATE the corners of the fin seams have ripped after a month of use. Great for occasional use, not good for swimming four times a week for a monrh ### ⭐⭐⭐ Monofin fine, but someone needs to learn how to package it so it's not all warped! *by G***N on October 31, 2017* Good quality monofin for beginner. Small fits preteen on up to a small adult, large fits adults. Sometimes it come all bent in pretty crappy packaging which does leave the inner core warped. Also it takes forever to arrive if it ever does. It's kind of a crap shoot. I have some that are perfect and others that look like a boomerang. In conclusion, the adult fin has a better core than the child size. So only two stars for the child size fin. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good for photoshoots; do not put children in water! *by C***L on April 12, 2018* For being a cheap product being used strictly for photoshoots it's fine. I do NOT recommend (as a mermaid with previous experience with good monofins) that you put children in this. It's literally neoprene, with some vinyl in it. The feet pockets are mildly tight on me (I'm a female adult 7-8 depending on brand). For doing pics above water, it's fine.
