The only thing I can think of that would be softer would be walking on a cloud, if such a thing were possible. My second sensation was gentle coolness, as if there were a fresh, cool breeze of air blowing gently on my feet. It actually felt as if the socks were wicking the heat away from my feet and ankles. So refreshing! I immediately felt a spring in my step. Even after I finished dressing and put my shoes on, my feet and ankles continued to feel refreshingly cool, as well as pampered by the softness. And despite having elastic that's so gentle you barely know it's there, these socks do a pretty good job of staying up. I held off writing this review until I'd sent my socks through the laundry, just to make sure these phenomena weren't just from some new material coating or a factory-fresh thing.
