**Q: How does this strap mount to mandolin? Thanks**
A: The strap clip hooks to the little silver hourglass looking attachment at rear behind the bridge. It swivels on it.  The other end strap goes around your neck or shoulder as you prefer. I had to take the attachment off of mandolin and install on strap clip then put it back on mandolin with screwdriver.

**Q: Is it strung and tuned?**
A: It does come strung, but you will have to tune it. It isn't safe to ship instruments with the strings tight enough to be tuned. It puts too much pressure on the neck.

Nice beginners mandolin well made for money and pretty.

### ⭐ Item OK, but missing promised items in the Kit

Mandolin itself seems decent quality and sound as expected. But the kit that was shipped is missing the digital tuner, the wiping cloth and the instrument strap. And the item price was reduced from $109.99 to $99.99 before the item was shipped, but still charged md $109.99 before tax. Amazon only offers to return or replace the item. But given that the main item is fine, it doesn't seem to make sense to return it. If the seller would send me the missing items, and refund the $10.00 price difference, I will be happy to keep the item, and also change my star rating.
