I don't have much to say to add to what has already been said by the other mx-5 owners. I will say that the front bumper was absolute hell to get the tape on, since it is ALL CURVES. I spent hours trying to cover all the different parts of the bumper but next time I will be putting much less effort into it. Once covered however, it offers adequate protection against debris that you'd run into on a track or highway. It took an entire 6"x100' roll to cover the whole front and a bit of the sides.Also, the leading edge thing is important. This tape WILL start coming off if the leading edge isn't covered. When that happens, the tape will start peeling off and start flapping, and if it happens to flap into an uncovered part of the panel, it will leave residue and swirl marks on the paint. This was particularly evident on the mirrors, where I had to make relief cuts everywhere to get it to conform to the shape. Residue is easily removed with a clay bar and swirl marks will require paint correction. Both of those things are worthwhile trade-offs for the peace of mind that this tape offers, and don't forget about that sweet, sweet feeling of peeling all of it off afterwards. Like buying a new iPhone, the best part is peeling off that screen packaging protection. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great stuff. I've never had an issue with damaged paint or extra left over residue. I've put this over my factory paint and my factory clear bra.Looks acceptable enough to me. And if I really take my time, I can apply it so that it's barely noticeable in photos.I'll be a customer as long as I keep tracking and as long as they keep making it.Only thing I'll warn people about is that if aren't super careful, the tape will hold dirt and sand if the sticky side is left exposed. Then that could potentially rub and damage paint. Make sure you dont put it on plastic though! Also, I've noticed that if you take over the tape itself, that's where it starts to peel at the track. When I reapplied it the next time carefully trying to line the tape up without overlapping too much, it was much better.
