Our cat developed urinary tract problems so she has to have special food and some treats are totally off limits for her, but this is both good for her and a special treat that she loves. She also now has arthritis and at part of her treatment, I have to give her an injection every 3 weeks which is an experience we both hate. The veterinarian suggested this treat when I do the injection so I have incorporated the treat to be given as soon as the injection is given. She is so excited to get her treat that she forgets to be mad at me for holding her and doing the injection. She is an indoor outdoor cat and sometimes in the summertime we cannot get her called in for the night, so we started giving her this treat as her bedtime snack. She looks forward to that so much that she comes inside early to get ready for it.
