Great for personal use if you don’t have someone to massage you or go to an actual Masseuse. I Also appreciate how it’s compact and portable. This treats exactly the spot as shown in the pictures. It does get very deep in the top of the shoulder area below the base of neck but misses a key spot for me which is about an inch or two lower. So it simulates tiny hands vs normal to large. IMHO I think it’s lacking in pressure on the neck. I couldn’t manage to manipulate the positioning of it to get it to go deeper in that area. You cannot use it anywhere else on your back effectively, you can barely feel it. Therefore it does not replace my much larger and pricier plug in shiatsu shoulder massager that I can use up and down my spine. I’ve seen these things on TikTok for a while now and was very curious. For the price point I think I will keep it and just use it separately as part of a multi device massage therapy session.
