I bought it for pottery class and was worried it would be too stiff to sit at the wheel without crunching or buckling. It's as soft as fabric but is pretty thick construction so I know it won't leak water and clay all over my clothes. I like the two pockets for hand tools too. It's also a decent size so it allows movement and still covers my front when I work.
