It was breathable and I didn’t wake up to sweaty hair like I do on satin caps. I felt like my hair retained moisture when I wore it. It stays on without leaving impressions on my forehead and face. The downside is that the cap bled orange dye onto my pillow even after washing it and giving it a vinegar bath to set the dye. It is tough, if not impossible, to get the die out of my white cotton pillow cases.
