Before having my friends over, I did a quick test between this induction cooktop and traditional electric cooktop: who heats up 4-cup water faster. No surprise that Weleyas induction cooktop wins! Not only faster, but also the induction cooktop is safe to touch during cooking. Not saying I would always, as a safety feature I think it is pretty cool. Before using the cooktop, I did online research. It seems most of my cookwares are magnetic stainless steel. So they are good to go for using the induction cooktop.
