The set was lacquered and polished beautifully with the extra queens and a green velvet bag and packed in hard cushioned foam around the pieces with the green velvet bag. I will not use the velvet bag since it is thin material and I purchased two corduroy bags that will protect this exquisite craftsmanship. I am so thrilled, I purchased a set last year that cost me $100 more, so yes I am thrill beyond belief. I bought the set to go with the shown board made of the same wood that had 1.375 inch squares. I recommend this set to use with boards that have between 1.375” and 1.578” squares. Note Acacia wood varies in color based on where it came from and how old the tree was and what part of the tree the wood came from et.. My Acacia pieces were all a medium brown color and the boxwood pieces were a cream color.
