It looks like it can not hold a heavy DSLR camera but it can even when extended up to it’s maximum height. It is durable and portable. This is perfect for group pictures whether using your cellphone or your regular camera. I can bring this anywhere since it’s compact and has a decent case/bag. I can record my how-to-videos with this tripod. As a first time mom, this selfie stick/tripod is very helpful in catching my baby’s miles stones. I just set up my phone in this tripod, have it stand in my son’s playroom while he’s playing and I let it record through timelapse. It does exactly what I wanted it to do and more.I even contacted their customer service for an issue I had with the remote. It wasn't working properly. I guess I just receive a defective remote, the buttons werent working properly. But I know those things happened and simply contacted them, they were quick, polite, and fixed my problem. I'm really impressed with there customer service.For the price and my great experience, my last thought is to give it a try. In reality though it is a 54 inch Tripod that is pretty dang sturdy. I had a 12 inch tripod that Broke within a few weeks and wasn’t nearly this sturdy or tall. Cons would be a little bulky for a selfie stick, the top does not rotate as much as it should (horizontal to vertical and everything in between) but still moves with ease and Security. Why did I give it a perfect rating anyway? Because it’s a 21 dollar 54in Tripod. It’s sturdy, Bluetooth works great, and I love the height. You don’t get something this big as your main selfie stick, you get it for a y’all Tripod that you can use as a selfie stick in a tight spot you don’t have your reg. The mobility of the top I hope they improve.
