The porcelain feels sturdy and well made, with a smooth, glossy finish. They have a nice weight to them, solid but not overly heavy. I’ve run them through the dishwasher and put them in the microwave without any issues. This set would make a lovely gift, but I’m very glad I kept them for myself.
