I used it in my street rod for a few years . Check with the Edelbrock company for more information . **Q: Can you tell me what all the vacuum ports are for? It has more than a normal Qjet** A: Each car has a specific set of emission related vac requirements so best to refer to a manual **Q: Is there any kind of tuning instructions?** A: No instructions but not that hard to tune. There are three screws on the brown round thing that you loosen and then adjust to tune. **Q: Where are the directions? It has different jets and no directions on what the different ones are for or how to change** A: Take the top off the carburetor jets located inside. Unless you’re building a hot rod there is no need to change the jets. I put mine on a 454 motor in my RV and made a small adjustment in front of carburetor. The car also spewed black smoke, because it was running too rich. I swapped out this carb for a used one and the car runs way better. I do not think this is a good replication of a Rochester Quardrajet.
