I use it daily and it's only about 30% smaller than new. One bar might last me two years. Ordering it for family members. Another reviewer commented on a price increase but the current price is only a $1 more than I paid for it a year ago. I bought this soap and the Art of Sport Body Bar at the same time. I wanted a charcoal soap with some texture but not like Lava soap. You have to use it awhile before you get down to the gritty part but it is just lightly gritty. I don't use it on my face or my whole body, just parts that require more effort. I tried it on my face but it left a film I had to wash off with bath gel. The Art of Sport soap was more refined and designed for total cleaning but smelled like it was trying too hard to be masculine (like Axe soaps). This Marlowe soap smelled more like soap than a cheap man's cologne which is fine. Recently my husband's hands got coated with carbon that Dawn and a brush couldn't totally remove.
