It is so moisturizing and healing at the same time; not to mention, that the pigment you can achieve with this product is just amazing. It’s feels great on and takes only a second to apply. It works as well as a lip stain or hydrating lipstick but is as conditioning as a basic chapstick at the same time. You really won’t need to add gloss, but you may want to for added shine. Even though I love the product, merlot wasn’t my color. I usually opt for Bordeaux, it’s the perfect pinkish red. With a slight purple hue (very slight). I don’t know if they still sell it, but it’s very comparable to the fuschia that is now available at Amazon.com. You really can not go wrong.
