We replaced a battery 5 years ago and always tried to fly it regularly. The battery got low during a pitot/static check and I had to jump start the plane. It took a charge again but it was obvious it was showing its age. New battery = $500 and the charger was under $200. I figured it was worth a shot. After letting it do its thing for 24 hours, the battery is in like new condition. I don't remember the last time the starter spun it over this well!
