Rail Assembly NOT included. Review: So, I was having issues with my garage door not wanting to open. I ordered new sensors and remotes and it was still acting up! I decided it was the opener and figured if I was going to replace my older opener I might as well upgrade. And this opener fit the bill! I love it. It's got 2 100 watt bulbs instead of one 60 watt bulb. It's got an app called my Q. It also has a keypad you can mount anywhere. It took me about an hour to install it myself. It wasn't very hard to do and programming it was easy mostly due to a couple of videos I watched on YouTube. I really wish it came with a new chain and bar because let's face it, the chain will break next! I also wish it came with some stick on wire holders for the long sensor wires instead of making people staple the wire to the sheet rock. I actually punctured the wire in one spot but the sensor still works. I'm really happy I bought this opener but it could use the upgrades I mentioned. I'm including a video and you will notice my white sensor wires on the opener have black wire loom wrapped around them, I think it makes it look cleaner. If your thinking about this opener I say buy it, unless you can find one with the chain and bar. And I still need to adjust the chain a little.Update 11/14/25... I have owned this for a while now and things I dont like are that the wall mount opener button needs to be pushed twice sometimes? What the heck is that all about? And when the garage door is open and the lights are out and you walk through the door the light doesn't come on. My 20 year old open worked that way. So now when I'm outside at night and come into the garage I'm in the dark! Why would they do away with that feature? It has its quirks but I would still recommend in. You can also use the my-Q app to open the door from anywhere. And I meen anywhere. In my situation I had a Liftmaster 1260LM. I was concerned about the same issue. I had no difficulty at all. The new Liftmaster 3265-267 fit perfectly. The hole locations were the same. The thread sizes of the 3265-267 were the same as the 1260LM. You will get all the hardware you need with the new opener. I even used the old light sensors mounted at the base of the garage door and had no problem. The remote controls and the wall mounted control for the 3265-267 are different. I was able to use all the existing wiring. To be on the safe side, submit a question on the amazon web page to the vendor for the Liftmaster 3265-267. Be sure to support the rail and chain assembly adequately while making the replacement. I supported mine with blocks of wood on top of two stepladders. Hope you find this helpful. **Q: Will the rail and chain for my old 1265 model be compatible?** A: Not sure what model I had before but had an older model and bought this one and only had to change out the unit itself and the keypad.
