Taking the old nut off, after almost 20 years was a bit tricky . But, with WD-40 and gentle persistence, it came off without any damage. We used a brass brush to clean up the spindle and then installed the arm and blade. It was a perfect fit and the quality seems as good, if not better, as the original. To have taken the car to the Lexus dealer or a repair shop for this arm / blade job to be done would have cost between $175 - $225. This arm / blade replacement was so easy that anyone could do it and save quite a bit. I was replacing my old 2006 and brocken windsheld arm. It fit nicely.
