I believe in the benefits of cod liver oil and have done a lot of research. Dropi is a clean, pure, high quality brand in terms of product and how it is processed.Straight cod liver oil is better than capsules, but I’ve tried over the years, and just can’t do it. I think dissolving capsules are better than doing nothing.You are still going to pay more for straight, quality oil, but it does seems more affordable, and I’m going to have to force myself to just do it to save $$.As far as the capsules, I have never had an issue with taste or after taste. I will continue to take clo for the benefits it provides - source for Vitamin A and D, and bone health - these are the main reasons I take it, but there are other benefits too.

This is the BEST fish oil I've found. It doesn't have nasty preservatives like other pills do - this is clean and true!! This is the ONLY fish I'll take (: 5 stars - highly recommend!

Both my son and I have found that we feel healthier and our teeth stay nice and strong when we take this. We tend to develop dental issues when we don't. I believe it is also good for fighting infection and many other purposes, due to the natural vitamin A. So many cod liver oils are not real. They take out the natural vitamins and add synthetic ones. At that point, might as well just take vitamin pills. This brand is amazing because it is a real super food, nothing synthetic.

This product was recommended to me by my homeopath. I was looking for the cleanest source of fish oil, and this product has not disappointed. However, both bottles I have received have arrived with the glass bottle broken at the top where the cap attaches. There was no protective packaging around the bottle. It was in the original box, but nothing additional to protect it from damage. Better packaging should be ano-brainer -- especially considering the high cost of this product.

I have been meaning to leave a review for a while, and sadly running out of this wonderful stuff is what finally pushed me to do it. I've been using Dropi Cod Liver Oil for five months. I did a lot of research beforehand, and was very impressed by Dropi's transparency and commitment to quality. Their customer service is stellar. I have been nothing but impressed. Best of all is how much this has helped my inflammation issues. I have some minor arthritis and PCOS. Between this and my Curamed I am pain free. I took for granted how much it was helping until I ran out a couple weeks ago. I'm surprised by how sore I am right now. I'm also breaking out a little bit. (Can we all agree that having grey hair AND acne is not fair.) I am a firm believer in the benefits of Cod Liver Oil. And Dropi is the best I've found, and I've tried many. Also? It's just beautiful. I never thought I'd say that about cod liver oil, but it's a gorgeous golden color with a fresh and pleasant smell. It's still a little too fishy for me to take off the spoon, but thankfully they offer capsules so those of us with timid palates can still enjoy their product.I cannot let myself run out again. Short Story: Amazing product buy it! Dropi keeps is all natural with nothing added except rosemary extract.Long Story:It took forever to find this type of product. I found out I have the gene mutation (BCMO1 enzyme if you want to look up yours) that does not allow me to easily convert the unusable form of Vitamin A beta-carotene to the usable form of Vitamin A retinol. We back up there and say, I did not know that beta-carotene was not usable! Beta-carotene is the plant form of Vitamin A and retinol is the usable Vitamin A for animals, your body has to convert the Plant type to Animal type.So, really good sources of retinol are eggs and cod liver oil. NO PROBLEM, I eat really good eggs! So pure cod liver oil is easy to get, right? RIGHT? No it is not!Things labled "Cod Liver Oil" is not always 100% cod liver oil. Besides fish oil and cod liver oil not being the same thing (they will try to trick you), other companies add things to the oil.Check for yourself;#1 In Amazon search "Cod Liver Oil"#2 Click on any product (works with most of them)#3 in their ingredients list, Look at Vitamin A and Vitamin D.Under Vitamin A, you will more than likely notice (if it is labled) "Vitamin A from Retinyl Palmitate and Cod Liver Oil." It is easy to miss, but Retinyl Palmitate is NOT retinol. Retinyl Palmitate is a synthetic type of Vitamin A that converts to retinol. Yes, there is Vitamin A from Cod Liver oil in there, but that other company added "and" in there to show that other company added other stuff in there!Vitamin D will do the same thing. Most companies are adding synthetic vitamins to your Cod Liver oil!Dropi is the ONLY trustworthy company that did not add synthetic vitamins or additives such as magnesium stearate that I found. Please do note, because they don't add synthetic vitamins, the amount of vitamin A and D are estimates as the amount fluctuates between seasons and catches. You can go on their website and look at their COA on your batch!

I give the liquid form to my toddler and I take the capsules. I like this company because I feel like I can trust them and feel safe giving it to my almost 2 year old knowing that it does not have heavy loads of mercury in it. Although it is pricey I believe you get what you pay for.I heard about this company through my very crunchy sister who recommended I give them a try.I’ve been using their product for six months now and I am going to continue using them.I also like that they are a small company and respond to my questions with consideration.
