I haven't used the tab and escape buttons on this but once when testing it probably because my brain says they're on the other side of the keyboard. If it does break in my pocket I'd buy another. This would make a good gift even though it's kind of bulky. The size is good for the muscle memory. I favor that it's connecting it nearly instant when it sleeps. If it's on and you don't use it for a bit it will turn off the green indicator and sleep. If you start typing while it's in its sleep mode it doesn't miss a key. Ive had other keyboards that would miss the first two or three keys because it would reconnect after being awakened. This doesn't have that issue, if you press a button to wake it, you just sent a keystroke. Love it. If you don't, give it as a gift - I'm sure it would be appreciated. I purchased this for my work so it if gets stolen it will be an affordable replacement as i don't carry it everywhere everytime. I hope the pictures help!
