It's so quiet, that I actually felt like I was about to lose the spin on the yo-yo, and when I bound it, it came right back easily. Very stable, very smooth, easy to catch on. All in all, this is a solid model! Even comes with a lot of nice string, a carrying case, and a replacement bearing if ever needed.
