Bad for farm chores. *by A***A on May 8, 2025* Overall a great boot depending on your expectations. I bought these with farm chores in mind which did not work out so well. The ankle is too rigid and uncomfortable, even when tied loosely, so I tied them lower. Unfortunately, everything that could get snagged on the eyelet hooks, did, including the laces on my opposite boot, which essentially hobbled me and sent me to the ground on my face a couple of times. After getting caught up in chicken wire and then a hay net, I finally took a needle nose pliers and clamped the hooks down. Otherwise, these are perfect for trails and hiking so that is their new purpose. They are pretty comfortable considering how rigid they are (except for the ankle). I will say they are 100% waterproof which I LOVE. I've been on both water and mud with them and my feet stayed completely dry. Great for hiking.
