Great product. My small dogs fit perfect through the doggy door

Got this for a german shepherd, she's small but not that small. Bought a large doggy door,got a large doggy door for a pomeranian. The opening is just large enough for a med to small size dog. Love the fact it's a super easy install no tools needed,but the company needs to look at a large dog before the add the lable, "LARGE DOG" very disappointed.

Wish there was a lock on the swinging door. My son goes in and out of the door. I have to remove the whole thing when my son is in the kitchen.

The door works fine for use. When we use a charley-bar to "lock" the sliding door my biggest dog, (125 lbs) comes and goes with ease. This door does not have a locking latch space so the sliding door just sort of sits next to it. The description did not say, or I overlooked, that it is screen top to bottom and the door does not come with the sliding plates to block the screens. We needed a doggy door fast so I ordered and then rigged old real estate signs to slide over the screens for protection and to block the heat. We also ended up adding foam stripping to close gaps around the frame. This is probably more because of the age and wear on our sliding doors than the doggy door. I did order the plastic covers and they work fine. we'll keep the door and just bar the slider for now.

Thank you for replacing it. First, the one I ordered was most likely damaged from shipping, other than that. It is great. I went to their main website and ordered the panel inserts for the pet screen. Because it shows they're out on Amazon. Until then, we will use plastic to insult the screen door. What I like most about this is that I can remove it if I need to bring something big into the house. Other ones I have used would have to go through so much to get it out and put it back up. Thank you for making one like this. They do have these CHEAPER on the Hakuna website. Larger with panels for $119.00

Sadly this is the only patio doggie door that would fit our custom size patio door, but I am returning it. It seems sturdy enough and is a good concept, but it falls out of the door track when the dog goes through (and yes, I ordered one big enough for him, but if he brushes the edge when he goes through it falls out). While trying to reinstall the doggie door, one of the adjusting screw tabs broke off. Also, there is no way to secure the flap closed to keep the dog in or to keep other critters out. Looks like we will be building our own.

The product arrives broken in two different places, and the mechanism to maintain the door open does not work, it's a very disappointing experience. I felt like if they send me a returned damage product from another costumer. Please DONT trying it, it's a waste of money, today I dropped to the trash.

This was the best purchase for my dog EVER. It allowed her to have access to the back yard at her convenience.
