I read the reviews before I bought these and will address those first. It had a couple repeat negatives but I am a risk taker (didn’t want to spend what it costs for the less risky)😉.1) discolored in dishwasher. I washed mine in the dishwasher as soon as I got them, the pics are post wash. No issue, just as shiny. Perhaps it was the soap they used or their washer. I took the plastic pieces off because I wasn’t sure if they would melt.2) Hard to slide. It was difficult to slide when I first opened them. But me being the person I am could not believe that this would pass product testing so there had to be a trick. There was! With the cup one, you pull up the back, move it back, and snap it in place. No issues! The spoon ones slid easily once I washed them. Or as easy as I would expect. I think they have to be tight because they are for use w liquids and solids. If they were looser I imagine they would leak. Either way, it’s a quick 2 handed move.On to my own thoughts......I like skinny measuring spoons so I can stick the spoon in the spice jar. The teaspoon easily fits. The tablespoon doesn’t but few do. I was still a little sad about that. Over all I think it is a good product for the price. It’s a pretty color, sturdy, and functional. Some are more easily manipulated with one hand but they cost at least double. I will take the savings over one hand use.

so i bought this about 6 months ago, and finally had a chance to use it, it works great, the adjustment tab thing has like a squeegee to it so you can slide it closed to scrape off measurements from the spoon. it works good, but the extra convenience was that i didnt have to switch between measuring spoons when going from tablespoon to teaspoon measurements for recipees.

I ordered these because I didn't want to juggle wet and dry ingredients in my current measuring cup set and I didn't want to clutter my kitchen with another full measuring set. I've used them multiple times for dry ingredients, and they have worked quite well once I got the hang of the slider. It's a bit snug at first and should hopefully loosen with time. I don't think I'll use the set for wet ingredients. While the upper plastic slider does fit snugly, wet ingredients will get on the backside of the slider, making it difficult to clean without taking the slider completely off. All in all, a good set if you want to save space.

The media could not be loaded. This little spoon measure so useful! Easy to use! Take less space! Sturdy material! Easy to clean!

I'm a baker, so I use this measuring spoon a LOT. After many years of use, it finally fell apart, after my mistreatment of it. I immediately bought a replacement, because it's one of my favorite measuring spoons. I also have the tablespoon one.

The teaspoon and tablespoon measures are well designed, sturdy, handy, space-saving and lovely. One does need to be attentive when measuring liquids -- it requires that you press down with your thumb on the top in order to seal the spoon and prevent liquids from seeping under the divider. You must remember to press down the entire time and not let up! Once you are familiar with the technique, all works well. However, the 1/2 cup measure is not satisfactory for me. It is a different design, probably out of necessity because of the larger size. But instead of a solid metal measure with a plastic slider, this one is a large plastic slider that also acts as a handle. It tends to pop off, is not easy to slide and does not lock as positively as the small measures. I have found it to be useless for the intended use and now use it just as a scoop without the plastic slider.

I bought this to track my daily food consumption, and it did the job tremendously. I’m really happy with my purchase—it has helped me control what I eat, making it easier to lose weight.

This is a very well built with good quality materials (metal handle/plastic slider) for a long lasting item. The measurement selection is very accurate and the measurement slider clicks in place to avoid any movement during use. I received this almost two weeks late and when it did arrive by USPS the package was inside of an USPS envelope for damaged mail. The packaging had been cut and the item was no longer inside. I contacted the seller and provided pictures of the damage. The seller offered a refund or replacement. I chose a replacement and I received the new package in perfect condition by USPS within 5 days. Very responsive customer service.
