I'm a light sleeper, and so I figured this would bother me and keep me awake at night. However, my foot pain had gotten so bad that I was willing to try this. The first few nights, I definitely kicked myself with this boot on, which frustrated me. It took a few nights to get used to, and then after that, the pain decreased, and I could use this nightly without it bothering me. I used this for months because the pain in the mornings was minimal, and I was able to start running again. I recommend this! It does let your foot drop slightly and has a cushioned area at front of foot so it's nice to step down on. After about an hour the hole around the heel area causes some discomfort due to pressure. Not for a larger calf, it just fastens but barely. Using after plantar release and gastroc recession and it is good for me because I literally can't stand not being able to move my foot somewhat.
