Growing up one of my best friends bought a car and it had a powered bass enclosure in it. The sound that it produced was just amazing and I will never forget it. Bass enclosures push out some of the punchiest bass available. I personally love punchy bass that is deep and clean. Bass is an integral part of any good audio system, and the Rockville Bass Blaster amplified subwoofer enclosures will add power and impact to your car audio system. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Wiring? I'm assuming the solid on left side of connector are the positive, the striped wires on right are ground, single is for head unit**
A: You assume correctly - wire color coding has no designation to polarity or function.  There are 5 pins of the 6-pin socket.  2 on left are positive, 2 on right are negative.  You should use both pins per side by splicing the 2 wires together - the gage of the connector wire is a joke compared to the gage of the wire inside the amp.  Middle wire is the signal wire, so very little current does not require large gage wire.

**Q: Does in Connect to the power antenna wire for on /off?**
A: It powers On/off automatically based on the audio signal.

**Q: Is the sub replaceable? Meaning swap with a new one of different brands.**
A: There should not be a problem if it's the same power speaker

**Q: How do I install it? The instructions are different from this model**
A: I bought the install kit with all of the appropriate wires and a line out converter. I hooked the loc to one of the rear speakers then the rca cable from that to the sub. I connected the power wire from the top, grey, to the battery, the ground wire, grey/black to a grounded bolt in the trunk. The black wire is supposed to be connected to the stereo but I didn't want to tear apart the dash so I connected an extra wire from the power to a simple on/off switch then ran a wire back to the black wire. It's not ideal bc if my daughter doesn't turn it off it could drain the battery but it was an easy "for now" solution. I didn't know what to do with the other 2 wires from the harness so I left them alone. It all works perfectly. I hope this helps someone bc I couldn't find squat about where those extra wires.

This is a great value. For less than $150 I got a basically plug and play subwoofer with amp. It isn't perfect but for the money it's a screaming deal. If you have a small to midsize interior in your vehicle this will absolutely rattle your fillings loose. People saying it's not loud enough are deaf. This will easily get to hearing damage levels of sound in any space smaller than a gymnasium. The picture is the sub in the cargo area of my 82-92 3rd Gen Camaro.
