They do not make the milk hot. Good foam though. For some reason milk always sticks to the bottom and requires getting in there with a brush to clean. Also have to be careful not to get water in the very bottom of the unit.The Espresso portion is good. There are better machines out there, one by Breville I had but died after a year.
