This seemingly is a very common replacement fan for laptops and NUCs. Inside a NUC, except for RAM and a SSD, you need fine motor skills! I had castrated drosophila melanogaster (tiny fruit flies) under a stereoscopic dissecting microscope, and I actually have fine motor skills. One needs very fine screwdrivers and tweezers. There was a lovely YouTube of my exact slim Intel NUC7i5BNK. Reattaching the Wi-Fi antenna was the most worstest, but now I can do it very quickly.If you keep notes as to the wire harnesses and their orientations, and have the tools, and have actual FINE MOTOR SKILLS, and if you haven't fried your CPU, you can replace the only moving part, the cooling fan. I cleaned my original fan and that worked for about two hours.This worked, for me, so well I have immediately bought another spare fan. I know some Lenovo laptops, HPs, and other laptops use this fan, too.If your NUC gets hotter to the touch, or has that polyurethane burning smell, pull the plug and think, "Cooling fan." Regardless, run Psensor in Ubuntu or CoreTemp in Windows. ### ⭐ Very cheaply made *by M***. on October 31, 2023* I returned this item because it had a broken wire and couldn't get power to it.I don't know how well it would have worked if the wire wasn't broken, it felt of poor quality though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Replacement part *by D***R on September 24, 2019* This was a perfect fit and worked well.
