The material is nice and stretchy so they slip on easily but still fit snug around the foot without feeling tight or restrictive. There’s a proper sole too — none of that thin floppy nonsense — so you can walk over pebbles, rocks and even sharp shells without feeling every little lump and bump. Took them paddleboarding, kayaking, and walking along rocky shores and they performed brilliantly. Good grip on wet surfaces, which was a massive plus as I’m not exactly the most graceful person when stepping out of a kayak! They also dry out super quick — left them in the sun for less than an hour and they were bone dry and ready to go again. One thing I really liked is that they’re lightweight enough to chuck in a daypack without weighing you down, and they don’t hold onto water like some heavier shoes do.
