Not big but not too small unless you like to carry a lot of stuff. I think it's a good size for light on the go. The bag I feel is adorable. Not sure how long the handles might last though, if you don't use the should strap like me. The material that is at the base of the handles where the hardware is connected doesn't "look" like it will last with everyday use for long term but I am okay with that give the price. Otherwise I think the bag is great for the price. As you can see from the pics I attached I tend to carry a bunch of little things with me, so for the small size I have a lot in my bag (hand sanitizer, 2 small bottles of lotion, small wallet, clump of keys, small battery back up charger, little make up case, etc).
