    Solid back prevents skin damage infections caused by mesh style backs

The solid back on the chair is worth the extra cost (compared to the ones with the  mesh backs, which cause skin damage).  Easy to assemble  but note:  The chair back snaps on and seems secure but be sure to INSTALL THE BOLTS, too. We didn't and the back came off resulting in a fall--entirely our fault. You need to order a seat belt separately.  It's new so don't know how it will hold up.
