It replaced a rather sterile bridge pup in my Telecaster Custom. I ordered the 9-10k version in order to match the output of the Fender stock humbucker. It sounds great! It still has some "Tele" to it with a little bit of "humbucker" added. Easy install, but you may want to use your old mounting hardware. The new pickup screws were slightly larger than the mounting holes in my vintage style baseplate. It wouldn't be hard to drill them out, but I just used my old hardware. I can't really comment on any noise or unwanted feedback because I'm a home player and I only play a medium volume. The pickup I received seemed to mirror a Seymour Duncan bridge pickup in both polarity and wire color scheme. Black-switch... Red and white-split... Green and Bare-ground.
