Review: Fantastic mouse for gaming, but just about everything else too. - I don't often leave reviews, and I've had this mouse for a little over 2 years now, but I really felt it deserved coming back for a review. Battery life is phenomenal. Im not exaggerating when I say I've only charged this mouse like maybe 10 times, but probably less. I do a lot of gaming, but I'm also at my computer for many hours weekly for my career, my own business and the couple hobbies I've turned into side gigs. Needless to say, most of my money making is done at the computer, and this mouse has held up to everything flawlessly. Imo, no mouse is really "comfy" per se, but this mouse doesn't cramp or fatigue my hand or wrist, or any other negative takeaway. So I'd consider it a win in that regard. Design is simple, nothing to dislike there. DPI settings are plentiful. I rarely change it myself, but the many options are nice. Overall, this mouse is wonderful. After using and experiencing how high quality and satisfactory this mouse is, there's nothing anyone could do that would convince me to buy some fancier more expensive gimmick mouse. This one is simple, effective, and durable. Nothing else is needed.
Review: I finally made the jump to wireless and this does not disappoint - I am using this mouse primarily for gaming, so features like sensitivity control, comfort and latency are important for me. This mouse does all of these well. In fact, I think it would be easier for everyone if I just list the few minor things I don't like: The texture on the right side of the mouse irritated my pinky a bit, but I either got used to it or started holding my pinky differently so I do not really notice anymore. The "rapid fire" button only does three click bursts. I cannot even find a way to change this in the reddragon software -- you can change the function of the button, but the rapid fire can only be done in a 3 click (or shot, in an FPS) burst. You can even change things like the speed of the burst, but not just have it go full auto clicking when held down. I would often use this button for example in games where I am managing an inventory to rapidly sell large quantities of items -- I now have to click (although only 1/3 as much as I normally would), but this still gets annoying if I am trying to dump say 100 things. My old mouse with true rapid fire would drain stuff in a second. **** The downloadable software is pretty nice. You can map any button to any function and control the LED colors and patterns. The mouse stores 5 DPI settings that you can customize both in DPI scale and the color that it illuminates the mouse wheel. I was really worried about latency too, but there is no perceptible latency for me when using it wirelessly. I as a disclaimer, I do have my PC and the wireless dongle only about 3 feet from the mouse at any given time, but so far it has seemed effectively instant to me. I also have large (specifically wide) hands and this is still pretty comfortable. No more soreness than any other gaming mouse I have used after long use. I have not truly tested battery life but after a full charge, I used the mouse for about 8-9 hours in eco mode (RBG off) and was showing 90% battery life in the app. All in all, this seems to be a great mouse by any standard, let alone at the price point of $30-40. I do not think a more expensive mouse would increase my gaming experience in any way. I have only had the mouse for a few days though, so the only thing to worry about is its longevity. If the mouse stops working or acting weird, I will update this review accordingly. Edit 4/18/24: just wanted to add a positive comment about battery life. I have been using the mouse for about a month in ecomode. I use it nearly everyday for 3-4 hours and am just now charging it for the second time (the software says it is at 40%). That's definitely better than I expected when I purchased. It's USB-c so you can use whatever USB-C cable you want, and it does not have to be the one included. It will still function wirelessly while being charged. Bringing this up because I used a wireless mouse once that would shut off when charging and the only way to use it was to plug it directly into the computer while charging -- this one can be used with any power source. Very happy with that

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are the actual dimensions of the mouse?**
A: Yes

**Q: Does this mouse require a program to be installed to configure the extra buttons outside of the default (copy/paste for example)?**
A: Yes

**Q: Is it an autoclicker that I can program for like 100 clicks per second**
A: If it does I have yet to find it and the 3 tiny instructions book that came with the mouse doesn't give you much information.

**Q: Can the mouse lights be switched off?**
A: They can absolutely and you can customize to your own liking with the amazing software this mouse comes with. I own this mouse and I need to say that sometimes I prefer having the lights off the only light that will show is the scroll wheel.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Close to the Sniper Pro
*by H***R on November 19, 2025*

I purchased this to replace a Sniper Pro that has seen to many miles of game play. I would prefer to give this thing 4.5 stars but alas I don't have that option. This is almost a duplicate of the Redragon Sniper Pro, and almost the same model number. Which is why I purchased it, I thought it was the new version of the Sniper Pro. It is not. It is it's own version of it's self. With that being said it is very close to the same thing as the Sniper Pro, but it has a little smaller footprint, for the thumb buttons there are 2 instead of 3. It is also slightly lighter. Aside from those 3 things I can't really tell a difference. As it turns out these are all positives for me. If I could of made 3 changes to the Sniper Pro, these are the 3 changes I would of made. Here comes the .5 star I would like to deduct. The USB-C cable is basically a proprietary cable. You are asking yourself how can a USB cable be proprietary. This cable snaps into place. My other USB-C cables don't snap into place when I plug them in, and they doesn't start charging when I plug them in. So as far as I know this is the only cable that will work on it to charge. Yes it's a USB-C but it has some type of snap feature. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I'd rather be able to plug any USB-C cable into it that I want. This seems to have all the same quality as other Redragon mice, and if that's the case it will certainly hold up over time. The app allows for easy customization of buttons for gaming, and lighting. The battery seems to hold up fairly well while using RGB, but in my experience that tends to start changing over the months that pass. On my Sniper Pro I ended up not using the RGB and the battery would last several days. I anticipate this will be very much the same. Overall I'm very pleased with this mouse and anticipate a long friendship with it.
