Now I put ot in my travel cooler and it keeps things pretty cold for about 3-4 hours at 78f The only bad thing is that my first 2 packs were confiscated by TSA because it doesn't really freeze solid ( like water would) And the " brain surgeons " wouldn't let you take it onboard)

Its really great, I used it after an injury and it did a great job with the cold compress.. Perfect for use on hip, after replacement surgery. By using two he was able to completely cover swollen areas around his hip, which greatly reduced swelling. Easy to refreeze for next use. Much easier to use than the ice machine that pumps cold water, and avoided having to purchase the expensive attachment to wrap your hip. These are versatile for other uses, later.
