Functional and Aesthetic
The 6-Door Wood Bedroom Armoire comes to the house in three large, heavy boxes. This is an item where it is helpful to have at least two strong, patient people present in order to get the whole thing assembled which took us about ten hours or so. If you have more advanced tools and experience (electric screw driver) it may take less. It was helpful that everything was Cleary labeled so the directions were pretty clear. It can be a little difficult to determine which way to slide in the backing, so we accidentally put that in backwards so it shows "brown" instead of white. Not that that matters much. After it was done it did look nice and will defiantly serve its purpose. Once that said, once it is put together the dresser will probably stay there for a long time due to its size.

Infuriating waste of time and money
Purchased hoping to get a self-assembly armoire of a decent quality. I was sadly mistaken. As someone who normally enjoys assembling new furniture, I found this one to be infuriating, especially given that I had spent $550 for it. It took about 8 hours with two people, and it's still not done. The instructions are decent, minus some errors here and there: a misplaced peg or bracket every once and a while. Easily figured out. No big deal. One problem that should have been a red flag from the beginning: the minifix cams are made of extremely soft metal, and will strip if you put too much pressure on-- which is required in order to fully lock them, unless you're into having your furniture fall apart several steps later. There were two different models hinges included, and it's easy to get the two mixed up. I thought this to be the cause of issues with the doors, but that wasn't the cas. I'll get to those later. There were also two different models of drawer slides. These would have been permissable, unless there were some bigger issues...Now, on to the big issue. The fitment of the doors and drawer. None of them fit properly or consistently. One set of doors has a large gap between them, enabling you to see inside. Meanwhile the gap between sets of doors is so tight, that they rub and flex in order to open and close. One door binds as it opens, which has only slightly been fixed by adjusting the hinges. Additionally, the drawer doesn't fit properly; it bangs into the doors. Also, the door height is inconsistent. It looks like a loony toons character constructed it.I'd like to return this. But how does one return something that is the size of the Titanic, and weighs about half as much as a dead star? Not to mention, being so pissed off at it that any disassembly I'd do with it would involve an axe.
