Faces in Places: Photos of Faces in Everyday Places

This book is really fun! I found their website awhile ago and we've been having a lot of fun looking at the pictures posted there. This is a fun book to flip through and makes a good book to sit on the coffee table and pick up whenever you feel like it. Once you start seeing these pictures, you'll notice the "faces" around everywhere you go!

Hilarious book - got it for granddaughters but think I enjoy it most! Makes one think outside the box and look at everyday objects in a new way. A must have!

Great Book!

Very disappointed in this book that promised to be amusing. The earlier book, "Faces," from 2001, ismuch more clever, original, and amusing. Too bad the creator of this one found it necessary to add unfunny captions to the photographs (like someone who writes a supposed joke followed by "Ha ha," just in case you didn't get it).

This is a great idea withsome very interesting and humorous photographs. The little blurbs may be a bit too much, drawing away from the excellent images. And there are so many images, the book tends to overwhelm the reader a bit. But take it slowly, a few images at a time, and ignore the words and you will enjoy a collection of delightful photographs, and learn that good photography doesn't all have to be heavy and serious. And have a few good belly laughs in the bargain!

This book is a lovely, well chosen collection of photos in which everyday objects appear to have facial features. It's surprising how adorable a face which isn't actually a face can be. The book has the pictures sorted into different sections, and many are captioned with witty comments (although admirably, not all - and it works really nicely). Children would love looking at all the funny faces, and I know I as an adult found it impossible to put down until I had finished, and occasionally even squealed with delight at a particularly good one.Would make a lovely gift, either for children or adults, and also a great coffee table book. Well worth the (very reasonable) price and I look forward to a follow-up edition with more pictures!

Jedes Bild ist mit einem "passenden" Titel versehen. Was sehr unlustig ist.Found Faces: Your World, Your Images (Focus (Lark) ist "neutraler".

Ordered this having seen a link from B3ta, and I can only commend it - it's a lovely book and would be just as good a gift for young or old. I'm thinking about ordering a batch for Xmas! I also note 10% of profits go to charity.
